Ingredients
  

Cream base
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (not miracle whip)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp milk
Flavoring ingredients
  • 1/3 cup fresh avocado (about half an avocado)
  • 2 Tbsp Hidden Valley Dry Ranch Dressing mix (1 envelope or measure from large container)
  • 1 Tbsp freshly chopped cilantro
  • Juice of 1 small lime (about 2 Tbsp)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a blender, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, milk, avocado, dry ranch dressing mix, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve, ideally for at least an hour or two.

Notes

This avocado cream can be used as a dip, spread, or sauce. Portion control is important—2 tablespoons is often sufficient to add flavor without excessive calories. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days; pressing plastic wrap onto the surface before sealing can help keep it fresh.
