  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into patties and place them in a baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup and beef broth. Pour the mixture over the patties in the baking dish.
  5. Add the frozen mixed vegetables on top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through. Serve hot.

Notes

Best served hot. Pair with mashed potatoes or fresh salad. Can store leftovers in the fridge for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
