- Combine water and bouillon in a heat-proof container.
- Heat the beef broth in the microwave, 1 minute at a time, until steaming hot.
- Meanwhile, melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Add flour and onion powder to the melted butter and whisk to combine.
- Continue whisking until the mixture bubbles and thickens, about one minute.
- While whisking, pour in hot beef broth to the flour mixture and whisk to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 1 minute.
- Serve and enjoy.
Notes
You can store the gravy in the fridge for 3 to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat gently to maintain the smooth texture.
