Preparation
- Heat unsalted butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until melted and foaming subsides.
- Place the flour tortilla in the skillet, ensuring it lies flat.
- Evenly distribute grated cheddar cheese over one half of the tortilla.
- Scatter crumbled bacon on top of the cheese.
- Drizzle ranch dressing over the cheese and bacon.
- Optionally cover with a second tortilla for thickness.
Cooking
- Press down gently on the tortilla and cook until the bottom is golden brown and cheese starts to melt, about 2.5 minutes.
- Carefully flip the quesadilla and cook the other side for another 2.5 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
Serving
- Let the quesadilla rest on a cutting board for 1 minute before slicing into wedges.
- Arrange wedges on a serving plate and top with shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. Serve with additional ranch dressing on the side.
