- In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, carrots, and celery. Sauté until softened.
- Add the shredded chicken and chicken broth to the pot. Bring to a boil.
- Stir in the ditalini pasta and cook until tender, following package instructions.
- Season with salt, pepper, and herbs to taste.
- Serve warm, especially on a cold day.
Notes
Serve garnished with fresh herbs and optionally with warm bread or a side salad. Best enjoyed hot.
