Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350° F.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Mix in the flour, baking soda, and salt until a soft dough forms.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
Baking
- Scoop dough into 1 1/2 tbsp portions and place on baking sheets.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
- Let the cookies cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. To freeze, place cooled cookies in a freezer-safe bag for up to 3 months.
