Ingredients
  

For the chocolate cups
  • 2 cups melted milk chocolate Can use dark or white chocolate for variants.
  • 6 small disposable cups Size should be small for best results.
For the filling and decoration
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa powder For enriching hot chocolate experience.
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows To be topped on the filling.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar For decoration.
  • 3 pieces candy canes To add flavor and festive look.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or microwave on low power. Stir every 30 seconds until smooth.
  2. Pour the melted chocolate into disposable cups, tilting and swirling to coat the inside.
  3. Allow the chocolate to set. You can refrigerate it for quicker solidification.
  4. For a stronger cup, repeat the melting and pouring process after the initial layer has set.
  5. Carefully remove the cups once the final layer has set, peeling them away gently.
Filling and Decorating
  1. Pour a bit more melted chocolate into the cups and insert candy canes for added flavor and appearance.
  2. Mix in 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder into each cup.
  3. Top with mini marshmallows and drizzle melted chocolate over them to secure.
  4. Decorate the cups with melted chocolate and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
Serving
  1. Serve Chocolate Hot Cups warm with hot milk poured inside, stirring to combine for a delicious drink.

Notes

Store leftover cups in a cool, dry place in an airtight container. They can also be frozen, but thaw slowly in the fridge before using.
