  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened, at room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Mix-ins
  • 10 cookies Oreo or chocolate sandwich cookies (coarsely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Line your baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Mixing
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and granulated sugar on medium speed until well combined.
  2. Crack the egg into the mixture and add the vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  3. Reduce the mixer speed to low and slowly add the dry mixture to the wet mixture. Mix just until cookie dough forms.
Baking
  1. Gently fold in the chopped Oreo cookies and white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  2. Use a small cookie scoop to scoop out portions and roll the dough into balls. Press them down slightly to flatten.
  3. Bake the cookies on the prepared sheets for 8 to 10 minutes until the edges are set.
  4. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
