Ingredients

For the pretzels
  • 1 12 oz bag butter snap pretzels
  • ½ teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt add more if you prefer extra salty!
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 packet buttermilk ranch dressing mix (about 1 ½ tablespoons or 0.4 oz)
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • a pinch cayenne pepper
  • ½ cup canola oil

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 225°F (107°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a large mixing bowl or resealable bag, combine the pretzels, lemon pepper, salt, garlic powder, ranch mix, dill, and cayenne. Toss until evenly coated.
  3. Pour the canola oil over the seasoned pretzels and stir (or shake the bag) until every piece is well coated.
Baking
  1. Spread the pretzels in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet. It doesn’t have to be perfect, just try not to overcrowd.
  2. Bake for 20–30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes to ensure even crispiness.
  3. Let the pretzels cool completely before snacking or storing in an airtight container.

Notes

Store in an airtight container to keep fresh for several days in a cool, dry place. Can also be frozen in a freezer-safe bag.
