Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (4 tablespoons)
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 32 ounces frozen corn
  • black pepper, optional

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Add ingredients to your crockpot in the order listed. Stir to combine.
  2. Cover and cook on Low for 4 hours.
  3. At about 3 hours, everything will come together. Continue to cook for the full 4 hours for the best results.
  4. Stir to combine and if desired, add black pepper to taste.
  5. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

This dish can be adjusted by adding pepper or herbs, and it pairs well with a variety of mains such as roasted meats or grilled chicken. Cool and store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
