  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese (shredded) Shredded cheese melts faster.
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Panko breadcrumbs can be used for extra crunch.
  • 1 large Egg (beaten) For dipping the pickles.
  • 2 cups Oil (for frying) Use enough oil to cover the pickles halfway.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oil in a frying pan.
  2. Dip each pickle slice into the beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  3. Place a small amount of shredded cheese on top of each pickle slice.
Cooking
  1. Fry the coated pickles until golden brown and crispy.
  2. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

To store cooked bites, place them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. Reheat in a hot oven or air fryer to keep them crispy.
