Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna

A simple, hands-off lasagna made with frozen ravioli, savory meat sauce, and three types of cheese, cooked slowly in a crockpot.

Ingredients
  

For the Meat Sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef Browned and drained
  • 1 can (24 oz) pasta sauce Thick jarred pasta sauce for best results
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning Add more for bolder flavor if desired
For the Layers
  • 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli No need to thaw
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Can use pre-shredded for convenience
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Can swap for provolone if desired
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese For topping

Method
 

Preparation of Meat Sauce
  1. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in pasta sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Layering and Cooking
  1. In a greased slow cooker, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce.
  2. Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce.
  3. Top with half of the remaining meat sauce and half of each cheese.
  4. Repeat layers, finishing with cheese on top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until heated through and cheese is melted.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Let the dish rest for 5 minutes after cooking for easier slicing. For reheating, use the oven at 350°F for 10-15 minutes or microwave on medium power until warm.
