Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Mix until smooth.
- Add the chocolate cookie crumbs and stir until everything is well mixed.
- Use hands to form small balls from the mixture - one large, one medium, and one small for each snowman.
- Place the truffle balls on a lined baking sheet and chill for about 30 minutes.
Decoration
- Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until creamy.
- Dip each truffle in the melted white chocolate and allow excess to drip off.
- While the chocolate is still wet, decorate with mini chocolate chips for eyes, candies for buttons, and orange candy for noses.
- Use colored icing to add scarves and mouths.
- Place decorated truffles back in the fridge to set for an hour.
Serving
- Once the chocolate is set, serve the cute snowmen truffles on a festive platter or in small treat bags.
Notes
Truffles can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. For freezing, use parchment paper between layers in a freezer-safe container for up to two months. Thaw in the fridge before serving.
