Ingredients

Donut Ingredients
  • 1 package jumbo buttermilk biscuits dough Store-bought
Toppings and Glaze
  • 1 package Easter sprinkles For decoration
  • 1/2 cup Cadbury mini eggs
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar For the glaze
  • 3 teaspoons milk For the glaze
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For flavoring in the glaze
  • 5 drops green food coloring To color the glaze

Method

Preparation
  1. Using a small circle cookie cutter, cut out the centers of all the biscuits.
  2. Place 3-4 biscuits into the air fryer’s basket, leaving about 1/2 inch around each one.
  3. Turn the air fryer on to 360F for 7 minutes.
  4. Remove the donuts from the air fryer onto a cooling rack.
  5. For the next batch, reduce the time by one minute.
  6. Repeat until all your donuts and donut holes are cooked.
Making the Glaze
  1. While the donuts are cooking, combine the powdered sugar, two teaspoons of milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl.
  2. Whisk until you have a smooth glaze.
  3. Add in the food coloring until you achieve the desired shade of green.
  4. Ensure the glaze is thick enough to not run off the donuts.
  5. If the glaze is too thick, add more milk to adjust the consistency.
Dipping and Serving
  1. Pour your glaze onto a shallow plate.
  2. Dip the tops of the donuts into the glaze, then lift each donut straight up to allow excess glaze to drip off.
  3. Add sprinkles to half of the donuts and place three mini eggs on half of the donuts with the sprinkles.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Donuts can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Freeze plain cooked donuts for up to 3 months.
