Easy Fudge is a quick and delicious dessert that can be made in minutes using just a few simple ingredients. Melt chocolate and sweetened condensed milk in the microwave, chill, and enjoy a smooth, rich chocolate treat.

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • to taste butter or cooking spray for greasing the pan

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Get out and measure all of your ingredients.
  2. Butter or spray a square 8x8 or 9x9 pan and line with parchment paper. Set aside.
Cooking
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds.
  2. Remove from microwave, let sit for 1 minute, and then stir to combine.
  3. If needed, put back in the microwave and heat an additional 30 seconds.
  4. Stir until the chips are completely melted and the chocolate is smooth.
  5. Add vanilla extract and combine.
  6. Fold in nuts, if using.
  7. Pour fudge into the prepared pan.
Setting
  1. Place pan in fridge for at least an hour to cool and set.
  2. Once cooled, remove from fridge and cut into squares.
  3. Enjoy every bite!

Notes

Store the fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze tightly wrapped pieces for up to 2 months.
