Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and caramelize the onions over medium heat until golden brown.
- Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Layer roast beef and caramelized onions on the buns, then top with provolone cheese.
- Place the top halves of the buns on and brush with melted butter.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and the cheese is melted.
- Serve warm with au jus for dipping.
Notes
To store leftover sliders, wrap tightly and refrigerate for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze assembled but unbaked sliders for up to 2 months.
