French Dip Sliders are easy-to-make sandwiches filled with tender roast beef, melted provolone, and sweet caramelized onions, perfect for gatherings or weeknight meals.

Ingredients
  

Slider Components
  • 12 pieces slider buns
  • 1 lb roast beef (thinly sliced)
  • 2 cups caramelized onions See directions for caramelizing
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 cups au jus (beef broth) Warm for dipping
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 4 tbsp butter Melted for brushing

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and caramelize the onions over medium heat until golden brown.
  3. Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  4. Layer roast beef and caramelized onions on the buns, then top with provolone cheese.
  5. Place the top halves of the buns on and brush with melted butter.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and the cheese is melted.
  7. Serve warm with au jus for dipping.

Notes

To store leftover sliders, wrap tightly and refrigerate for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze assembled but unbaked sliders for up to 2 months.
