Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, sugar, and salt.
- Cut the bread slices into cubes and add them to the egg mixture, stirring to coat.
- Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.
Cooking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and set.

- Serve warm with maple syrup, a dusting of confectioners sugar, or raspberry lemon compote.
Notes
For portion control, serve 1 cup portions with a protein side like Greek yogurt. This makes a balanced meal with more protein and less sugar. The bake is also meal prep friendly, refrigerate overnight before baking.
