  • 1 lb Boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce Use low-sodium if desired
  • 1/4 cup Honey Can substitute with maple syrup
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Can use garlic powder as a substitute
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar Any type of vinegar will work
  • 1 tbsp Ketchup Optional, but adds a nice flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and place the chicken thighs on it.
  3. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, vinegar, and ketchup to create the glaze.
  4. Pour the glaze over the chicken thighs, making sure they are well coated.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, flipping the chicken once and basting with the pan juices if desired.
  2. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing or serving whole.

Notes

This dish pairs well with steamed green beans, rice, or even in a warm pita with coleslaw. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container and taste even better the next day.
