  • 1 cup self-rising flour If unavailable, make your own by adding baking powder and salt to all-purpose flour.
  • 1 egg (for egg wash) Beaten egg for brushing on top.
  • Sea salt For sprinkling on top.
  • Optional toppings (e.g., everything bagel seasoning, sesame seeds) Customize with your favorite toppings.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and self-rising flour until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for a minute or two until smooth.
  4. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into bagels by forming a donut shape.
  5. Place bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the top of each bagel with beaten egg and sprinkle with sea salt and optional toppings.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store bagels in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Freeze in a freezer-safe bag for up to 2 months. Thaw at room temperature or warm in the oven.
