Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour and Greek yogurt until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and shape each into a bagel.
- Make a hole in the center of each bagel.
- Place the bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg and sprinkle with optional toppings.
Cooking
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Store leftover bagels in an airtight container for up to two days, or freeze for up to three months. To reheat from frozen, toast or warm in the oven.
