  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it is at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix Adjust the amount to taste to avoid it being too salty.
Mix-ins
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to experiment with different cheeses.
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped Reserve some for garnish.

Preparation
  1. Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature for 20 to 30 minutes to soften.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning mix. Stir until well blended.
  3. Add in the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and chopped green onions.
  4. Mix until the ingredients are even and the texture looks smooth.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve with your choice of crackers or veggie sticks.

Notes

This dip can be served warm or cold. For a warm version, bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 to 15 minutes until bubbly.
