Ingredients
  

For the Steak and Rice
  • 1 lb Steak (your choice of cut) Ribeye, flank steak, or sirloin work well.
  • 2 cups Cooked rice (white, brown, or jasmine) Choose your preferred type of rice.
For the Marinade
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce For marinating the steak.
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar Adds sweetness to the marinade.
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced) For flavor.
  • 1 tbsp Ginger (grated) Provides a zesty kick.
For the Spicy Cream Sauce
  • 1 cup Heavy cream Base for the sauce.
  • 2 tbsp Gochujang Adjust amount for spice level.
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha For added spice.
For Garnishing
  • 1/4 cup Green onions (chopped) For garnish.
  • 2 tbsp Sesame seeds For a crunchy topping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Place the steak in this marinade and let it soak for at least 30 minutes.
  2. While the steak is marinating, prepare the rice according to the package instructions.
Cooking
  1. After marinating, cook the steak on a grill or in a hot pan to your desired doneness. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine heavy cream with gochujang and sriracha. Heat over low while stirring until well mixed.
Assembly
  1. In serving bowls, place a scoop of cooked rice. Top with slices of steak and drizzle the spicy cream sauce over it. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For a customizable dish, you can add grilled or sautéed vegetables, use different proteins like chicken or tofu, and adjust the sauce's spiciness.
