Main Ingredients
  • 1 package Hawaiian rolls Soft rolls suitable for sliders.
  • 16 ounces meatballs Use frozen or pre-cooked meatballs.
  • 2 cups marinara sauce Choose a sauce that you enjoy.
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese Shredded or sliced for easy melting.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For brushing the roll tops.
  • 1 tablespoon parsley Chopped, for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat the meatballs in marinara sauce until warmed through.
  3. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottoms in a baking dish.
Assembly
  1. Add the meatballs and sauce on top of the rolls, then sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the meatballs.
  2. Place the top halves of the rolls back on and brush the tops with olive oil.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  2. Remove from the oven, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

Serve warm with extra marinara sauce for dipping. Can be paired with sides like chips or a green salad. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months, reheating as needed.
