Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the flour, chopped pecans, vanilla extract, and salt until combined.
  4. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
  1. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the bottoms are lightly golden.
  2. Allow the cookies to cool slightly, then roll them in powdered sugar while they are still warm.
  3. Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
