Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and cut into squares.
- Place a small spoonful of pizza sauce on each square, followed by cheese and a few slices of pepperoni.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and pinch to seal.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with Italian seasoning if desired.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Store cooled bites in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 8-10 minutes. For freezing, place cooled, unbaked or baked bites on a tray and freeze until firm, then transfer to a zip-top bag. Keep frozen for up to 2 months.
