  • 4 slices Rye bread
  • 8 oz Corned beef Use lean corned beef for a healthier option.
  • 1 cup Sauerkraut Drain before using.
  • 4 oz Gooey cheese (like Swiss or mozzarella)
  • 4 tbsp Russian dressing Serve on the side.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Layer slices of rye bread with corned beef, drained sauerkraut, and cheese.
  3. Top with another slice of rye bread.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 45 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden.
  2. Serve warm with Russian dressing on the side.

Notes

For healthier options, use lean corned beef and low-fat cheese. To reduce calories, consider making an open-faced sandwich.
