Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Gradually blend in the flour mixture until combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips and chopped caramel candies.
Baking
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with sea salt while warm.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. For longer storage, freeze them for up to three months. When ready to enjoy, thaw at room temperature or heat in the microwave for a few seconds.
