Ingredients
  

For the cake pops
  • 1 box cake mix Follow package instructions for additional ingredients like water, eggs, and oil.
  • 1 cup frosting Use your favorite flavor.
  • 1 cup green chocolate melting wafers For coating the pops.
  • as needed sprinkles For decoration.
  • 24 lollipop sticks or candy sticks For serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Bake the cake according to the package instructions and allow it to cool.
  2. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl.
  3. Mix in the frosting until well combined.
  4. Scoop out small amounts of the mixture and form into balls.
  5. Melt the green chocolate as per package instructions.
  6. Dip the ends of the lollipop sticks into the melted chocolate before inserting into the cake balls.
  7. Freeze the cake pops for about 15 minutes to help them hold their shape.
  8. Dip each cake pop into the green chocolate and shake off excess.
  9. Decorate with sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet.
  10. Let the pops set on a piece of wax paper.
  11. Serve on a platter or package them as gifts.

Notes

Store cake pops in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. For longer storage, freeze them for up to 2 months. Thaw in the fridge before serving.
