Preparation
- Bake the cake according to the package instructions and allow it to cool.
- Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl.
- Mix in the frosting until well combined.
- Scoop out small amounts of the mixture and form into balls.
- Melt the green chocolate as per package instructions.
- Dip the ends of the lollipop sticks into the melted chocolate before inserting into the cake balls.
- Freeze the cake pops for about 15 minutes to help them hold their shape.
- Dip each cake pop into the green chocolate and shake off excess.
- Decorate with sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet.
- Let the pops set on a piece of wax paper.
- Serve on a platter or package them as gifts.
Notes
Store cake pops in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. For longer storage, freeze them for up to 2 months. Thaw in the fridge before serving.
