  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Green food coloring Add to achieve desired shade of green

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients.
  6. Add green food coloring to achieve your desired shade of green.
Baking
  1. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Add sprinkles on top if desired.
  3. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  4. Allow to cool before enjoying.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days. For longer storage, freeze in a single layer before transferring to a freezer bag for up to 3 months.
