- In a saucepan, stir all the ingredients together and bring to a light boil.
- Reduce the heat and simmer uncovered until reduced to where it coats the back of your spoon, about 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat, let cool, then transfer to a glass jar or other airtight container and store in the refrigerator.
Notes
Store the sauce in a clean glass jar or airtight container in the fridge. It will keep well for up to 2 weeks when refrigerated. For longer storage, freeze in ice cube trays and use within 3 months.
