  • 3 leaves fresh mint leaves Use fresh mint for the best aroma and taste.
  • to top ml Ginger ale or sparkling soda Any sparkling drink will work.
  • as needed cup Ice cubes Use as much ice as desired.

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients. Cut the watermelon into cubes, and have your limes and mint ready.
  2. Place the cubed watermelon, lime wedges, and fresh mint leaves into a 350 ml cup.
  3. Using a muddler, gently press down on the ingredients to release their flavors without turning them into a puree.
  4. Fill the cup with ice cubes to chill your mocktail.
  5. Pour ginger ale or sparkling soda over the ice.
  6. Garnish with lime slices, fresh mint leaves, and small watermelon cubes.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. If made in advance, store ingredients separately to maintain flavor and carbonation. Add fun straws or colorful cups for serving.
