Ingredients
  

For the chickpea filling
  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed Canned chickpeas for convenience.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For roasting the chickpeas.
  • 2 tablespoons buffalo sauce Adjust amount based on spice preference.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For added flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.
For the wraps
  • 4 large tortillas Flour or corn tortillas can be used.
  • 1 cup lettuce, chopped Use any variety you prefer.
  • 1 cup tomatoes, diced Fresh tomatoes add flavor.
  • 1/2 cup red onion, sliced Adjust according to taste.
  • 1/2 unit avocado, sliced For creaminess.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the chickpeas, olive oil, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the chickpeas are evenly coated.
  3. Spread the chickpea mixture on a baking sheet in a single layer for even cooking. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until crispy.
Assembling the Wraps
  1. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat or in the microwave for about 15-30 seconds, until soft and pliable.
  2. Assemble the wraps by placing roasted chickpeas, lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced onion, and avocado on each tortilla.
  3. Roll up the tortillas tightly, slice in half, and serve immediately. Enjoy your meal!

Notes

These wraps are best enjoyed fresh while the chickpeas are warm and crispy. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
