  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine the butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add chicken breasts and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
Cooking
  1. In the same skillet, add chicken broth to deglaze the pan. Stir in the butter mixture and cook until smooth.
  2. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it with the sauce. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  3. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. It can also be frozen for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before reheating.
